An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Nissan Silvia Turbo RS-X sports coupe of the S12 generation from the manufacturer Fujimi in 1:24 scale. The model is molded largely in white plastic with the chassis and details in black, and clear glazing, front, side and rear spoilers and metal tubes for faithful exhausts are usually included. It can be assembled in the standard as well as the lowered low-down form.
The Silvia of the S12 generation was built from the middle of the 1980s and represented the Japanese take of the time on an affordable sports coupe. The Turbo RS-X version was powered by a turbocharged engine, and the car became known for the angular design typical of the period, including pop-up headlights on some configurations.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic, treat the body with primer and paint it in thin coats. For a faithful look of Japanese tuning, gloss varnish on the body and careful blackening of the panel gaps work well. Glue the metal exhaust tubes with cyanoacrylate glue. Fit the glazing and the trim at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
