The masks are stuck directly onto the clear canopy and do away with cutting masking tape with a knife. The cut is worked out for the Border Model kit.
An aircraft in 1:35 scale is not a mistake
The 1:35 scale is commonly associated with military vehicles, and with aircraft it is rarer. In recent years, though, several manufacturers have used it for fighters, and kits of this type in 1:35 scale do exist. The mask set follows on from one of them, and it cannot be confused with kits in 1:32 or 1:48, as the dimensions of the frames differ.
The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 was a German single-engine fighter aircraft with the BMW 801 radial engine. The A-6 version had a reinforced wing structure and strengthened onboard armament, and it was deployed from 1943. The cockpit with a sliding canopy has fairly simple framing, but in a large scale every uneven edge can be told.
Degrease the clear part and let it dry, and only then lay the masks with tweezers. The frames of the Fw 190 were built in an interior shade on the inside, so with a one-sided set deal with the interior separately before sticking the masks on from the outside. Apply the paint in thin coats and take the masks off as soon as the surface is dry to the touch.
The masking set is an accessory for a model, and the model itself and paints are not included in the package.
