A set of Art Scale painting masks for the Mosquito B.XVI model in 1:72 scale in the single-sided express fit version makes spraying the glazing frames easier. It is not a model but an accessory for the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
Self-adhesive, precisely pre-cut Art Scale painting masks in the express fit version for the Airfix injection-molded plastic kit of the de Havilland Mosquito B.XVI bomber in 1:72 scale. The set is an accessory for painting, not a kit. The parts are numbered and ready for quick application according to the instructions. The single-sided version masks the glazing frames from the outside.
The masks are applied to the canopy glazing and to other areas that are to stay unpainted. The film follows the shapes of the frames, so the color transitions are sharp and straight and the tedious cutting of tape is avoided. In the small 1:72 scale, accurate masking is especially valued. The set is suited above all to the airbrush.
The de Havilland Mosquito B.XVI was the British high-altitude bomber version of the famous wooden twin-engine aircraft of the Second World War. It had a pressurized cabin and was powered by Rolls-Royce Merlin engines, which made it one of the fastest machines of its day.
The masks are neither paint nor a model. The model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
