The RX-78-2 Gundam is the title machine of the Mobile Suit Gundam series and the best known silhouette of this whole world: a white body, blue and red areas and a yellow head antenna. Since its first appearance so many renderings have come about that collectors often concentrate on exactly that and compare the individual takes with each other. For a newcomer to this world it is at the same time the most logical first piece for a collection, because everything else follows on from it.
These goods are a plastic model from the world of Gundam. The code given in brackets after the name is the supplier designation and it matters: the same machine is also made in another rendering with a different code, so the brackets tell you which one you are ordering. The extent of the parts and the way it is assembled are stated by the manufacturer on the packaging and in the instructions.
Proceed according to the instructions in the package. Separate the parts gradually and sand the remaining nub down, so that the joints seat tightly. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Choose paints intended for plastic models and apply them in thin layers; the thinner and the thinning ratio follow the instructions from the paint maker. On this subject a cleanly separated white area against the colored parts does a great deal, so it pays off to use masking tape and to paint by sections.
The model suits collectors and modelers who want the basic and best known machine of the series in a collection. Paints, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
