The shifting shade Chameleon Pink-Bronz from the Mr.Paint line. Depending on the viewing angle it moves between a pink and a bronze tone.
Responsibility details are not available.
Shades labeled Chameleon have no single fixed tone. Depending on the angle from which you look at the surface and on how the light falls on it, the color flows between two positions, here between pink and bronze. On a model it is an effect that cannot be imitated by mixing ordinary paints: the area changes when you turn the model, and that is exactly why it suits places where the finish is meant to catch the eye.
The base decides. The effect stands out only on a smooth, evenly colored and well-cured surface, because every scratch or blemish is emphasized in a shifting finish. The recommended base and its shade are stated by the manufacturer, so follow that. Apply in thin coats and let them set between one another; the transition between the tones is built up gradually and a single heavy coat is more likely to smother it. Choose the thinner and the thinning ratio according to the manufacturer's instructions on the bottle, that is, the thinner intended for this line. Shake the bottle before work, as the particles responsible for the effect settle.
Most often on car bodies, helmets, accessories and on models from the world of science fiction and fantasy, where the point is not period fidelity but the impression. It also works well on small areas as a detail that contrasts with matte surroundings.
The thinner, the base color, varnish, an airbrush and the model are not included, unless stated otherwise.
