1:32 Fw 190D-11 propeller is a Quickboost accessory set with a replacement propeller for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-11 in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory to the build, not a model. The set takes the place of the propeller from the kit with one precisely shaped part, with which the gluing of the blades into the hub and the subsequent watching over their identical angle are done away with. It is precisely a divided propeller that tends to be a weak place in production kits, because every blade easily settles differently.
The Fw 190D belongs among the late development branches of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190. Against the radial-engine versions it received the inverted V12 Junkers Jumo engine and a lengthened nose and tail, on account of which it was nicknamed Dora. The D-11 version was one of the late forms of this line and arose in a small number only. The differences between the individual versions lie precisely around the engine and the propeller, so swapping the part here is not a cosmetic trifle.
Separate the part carefully from the sprue with a fine-toothed saw and sand the surface flat. Before painting, wash the part and degrease it, otherwise the paint may not hold. Apply a thin primer, and only then the covering shade. On a propeller it pays to mask the tips of the blades separately, so that the warning stripes are sharp. Before gluing, check that the shaft in the nose has the correct diameter - sometimes the hole has to be drilled out or, on the contrary, shimmed. If you want to leave the propeller able to turn, think the mounting out before you glue the part on permanently; with a one-piece replacement, a later modification is awkward.
