Die-cut landing gear bay masks for a Mitsubishi A6M Zero model in 1:72 scale, listed for the A6M2, A6M3 and A6M5 versions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Zero was one of the best-known Japanese aircraft of the Second World War. It was a carrier fighter built for agility and range, and Allied pilots could match it only with difficulty in the first years of the war. The A6M2, A6M3 and A6M5 versions form the main line of development of the type and are told apart mainly by the wing.
Painting templates for the landing gear bays of a model in 1:72 scale. A bay tends to be in a different shade from the surrounding surfaces, and when the underside is sprayed the coat easily gets into it and is then hard to put right. Covering it simplifies the work into two separate steps and the edge around the opening comes out crisply.
For the modeler who builds the Zero in 1:72 scale and does not want to make covers out of paper and adhesive tape. The set is cut to the shape of the bays of a particular model, so check what it is intended for in the instructions or on the box before you fit it to a kit under construction.
The kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
