Responsibility details are not available.
A short-run plastic kit of the British Vickers Viking 1B in 1:72 scale by the Czech manufacturer Valom, in the Cargo boxing with markings of cargo and transport operators. Unlike the Airlines boxing, this one brings different color schemes. The kit is injection molded and usually comes with clear parts, small photo-etched parts and decals for two schemes. The exact number of parts is not stated here as certain; the binding source is the instruction sheet in the package.
The Vickers VC.1 Viking was a British twin-engine airliner of the postwar era that first flew in 1945 and drew on the design experience of the Wellington bomber. The 1B version had a lengthened fuselage. Besides carrying passengers, Vikings also served in cargo and mixed transport with various operators, which is what this boxing captures. The type is one of the first British postwar transports, and around 165 of them were built.
Separate the short-run parts with a sharp knife and clean them up, glue the fuselage joints with thin plastic cement, fill the gaps and sand them smooth. Bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. Spray the metallic and colored finishes of the cargo machines with an airbrush over a primer; apply the operator decals onto a gloss surface and seal them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
