Masks for spraying the national insignia without a white outline on a model of the Nakajima Ki-43-II Hayabusa in 1:32 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa was the most numerous fighter of the Japanese Army Air Force in the Second World War. Against the first machines the second production series, the Ki-43-II, received better protection for the pilot and the tanks. Japanese national insignia took the form of a red disc; on some machines the disc was outlined in white, on others it stayed without one.
Masks for spraying the national insignia in the form without a white outline, in 1:32 scale. A sprayed insignia has no carrier film, so it does not silver on a matte or textured surface and does not wrinkle over rivets and panel lines. The placement of the insignia on a particular machine and the number of parts in the set are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The form with the white outline is a separate item, so check which of the two you need when choosing.
Apply the mask only to a dry base coat and press the edges down carefully. On a dark finish let a light base dry under the red first, otherwise the red does not cover and looks dirty. Spray in thin coats and lift the mask off as soon as the paint has set. Look at the edge against the light and repair any bleed straight away.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
