A yellow shade from an Italian paint range for airbrushing, in a thirty milliliter bottle. It comes in a consistency ready to spray. The shade matches the color of Kevlar fabric, that golden yellow the lightweight composite parts of racing machinery have. Against an ordinary yellow it is shifted toward golden brown, and that shift is exactly what a model needs, otherwise a composite part looks painted rather than woven.
Shake the bottle thoroughly and spray in thin coats. Yellow shades cover badly, so lay a white base underneath, otherwise the paint comes out muddy. The best result on a composite comes from a combination: this shade is sprayed first and a decal with the fabric weave is laid over it, which gives the depth a decal alone does not have over a dark base. The paint is solvent based, it does not thin with water, and for thinning and cleaning the airbrush use the thinner of the same brand.
