Masks for spraying the national insignia without a white outline on a model of the Nakajima A6M2-N Rufe floatplane fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Nakajima A6M2-N was created by converting the A6M2 carrier fighter into a floatplane: the landing gear was replaced by a large central float supplemented by two smaller ones under the wings. The Imperial Japanese Navy deployed it in the island areas of the Pacific, where there was nowhere to build runways. The Allies used the code designation Rufe for it.
Masks for spraying the national insignia in the form without a white outline, in 1:48 scale. The insignia is laid on with paint directly on the model, so no carrier film is left to silver on a matte finish and wrinkle over rivets and panel lines. How many parts the set contains and where the insignia belong on the machine are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The form with the white outline is a separate item, so check which of the two you need when choosing.
Apply the mask only to a dry base coat and press the edges down with a blunt tool, especially on the curved surfaces of the floats. On a dark finish spray a light base under the red, otherwise the shade does not cover and looks dirty. Lay the paint on in thin coats and lift the mask off as soon as the coat has set. Look at the edge against the light; a fresh bleed is far easier to repair than a dried one.
The aircraft kit, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
