This is a supplementary detail set, not a model of a tank. It holds fine photo-etched parts and metal elements with which you lift the surface detail of a plastic model of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf. G version in 1:35 scale. The set is meant for more experienced modelers who want to replace coarser plastic parts with thin photo-etched equivalents.
Photo-etched parts usually refine elements that are molded thicker in plastic than the scale calls for, for example grilles, tool clamps, fenders and the small fittings of the hull. The exact contents are given on the packaging of the set.
Bend the photo-etched parts in a bending tool or along a ruler and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with an adhesive meant for photo-etched parts. Before painting it is a good idea to degrease them and lay on a primer so that the paint holds on smooth metal. Follow the drawing supplied.
This is an accessory for a model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
