The Nissan Cedric is a large Japanese passenger car, and the designation in the name specifies the form: a four-door hardtop, a two-liter class engine and the SGL-E trim level. A hardtop body is recognized by its side windows without fixed frames, thanks to which the car has a low, drawn-out silhouette. Cars of this type have a permanent place among collectors of Japanese automotive subjects.
It is a plastic kit in 1:24 scale, that is, a model you build and paint yourself. The exact number of parts, the possible versions and the contents of the package are given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer.
Separate the parts with sprue nippers a little away from the part and sand the remaining stub, so that the glued surface seats. Apply the glue sparingly; for clear parts choose one that will not cloud them. Wash and degrease the body before painting and unify the surface with a base coat, because a smooth gloss finish needs a perfectly even base. Lay the paint on in several thin coats and let each one dry.
The set will please collectors of Japanese cars as well as modelers who build period road scenery in 1:24 scale. Paints, thinner, glue and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
