The sharpest version of the eight-cylinder Ferrari from the end of the last decade as rendered by the Alpha Model brand. The set is made by casting in resin, so the parts are rigid and more brittle than injection-molded plastic, and it is advisable to have a tried procedure for this material.
Ferrari introduced the Pista version in 2018 as a sharp derivative of the 488 GTB. The designers lightened the body, reworked the aerodynamics and drew on the findings from the racing specials of the same family campaigned in endurance racing. The turbocharged eight-cylinder of 3.9 liters was the most powerful unit of this layout in the brand's range at the time of its presentation, and among collectors the car ranks with the most sought-after modern pieces from Maranello.
The real car often appears with contrasting stripes along the whole length of the body, which come out through the difference between a gloss and a satin coat. The brake calipers and discs deserve to be painted separately, away from the chassis. The interior calls for the belts of the sports seats and matte surfaces where the real car uses lightweight materials. Paint the wheels with their thin spokes separately from the tires; masking would otherwise damage them.
The kit is meant for building; a finished car and coating materials are not in the box.
