An accessory from Red Fox Studio for modelers who are building the large Hurricane and want legible dials in the cockpit. The set is printed in color, with a raised relief, and it is applied onto a film in much the same way as printed sheet graphics. Do not look for plastic parts of the aircraft in the box, this is purely an interior upgrade.
The second series received the Rolls-Royce Merlin XX engine with a two-speed single-stage supercharger and with it markedly better performance at altitude. According to the armament it split into sub-versions with twelve machine guns, with four 20 mm cannons or with anti-tank cannons under the wings. Machines like these bore the brunt of the fighting over Malta, in North Africa and over Burma, once the Spitfires had taken over the front-line defense of Britain.
Carefully sand away the original molded relief on the plastic, otherwise the new part will not sit flush. Cut the individual elements out with a sharp knife and move them with tweezers that have smooth jaws. Work in good light, the pieces are tiny and easily lost. Apply the final pressure through a soft eraser, so that the raised edges stay high.
