An injection-molded plastic kit of the Lamborghini Diablo sports car in 1:24 scale from Italeri. The box contains the parts for building, a decal sheet and assembly instructions; the assembled model measures roughly 186 mm. It is a kit for more advanced modelers (the difficulty matches a usual car kit). Glue and paints are not included in the package.
The Lamborghini Diablo was the flagship supercar of the Italian marque, built from 1990 to 2001. It was powered by a mid-mounted twelve-cylinder engine; the Diablo VT version brought all-wheel drive. The top version reached a speed of around 325 km/h. The wedge-shaped design with scissor doors is one of the icons of car design of the 1990s.
It is best to spray the body with an airbrush and to overcoat it with a gloss clear coat, so that the typical shine of a supercar comes through. Leave the chrome and glazed parts until the end. Assemble and paint the interior and the chassis before closing the body. Decals settle better on a gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
