An injection-molded plastic model of the racing supercar Lamborghini Murciélago R-SV of 2010 in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Aoshima. The kit from the Super Car series contains plastic in black, chrome-plated parts and a clear body, a detailed engine with an opening cover on struts, a chrome exhaust, a racing seat, a roll cage, alloy wheels and rubber tires. Decals and a masking film for the glazing are included.
The Murciélago R-SV was the racing development version of the Lamborghini Murciélago supercar, adapted to FIA GT rules and derived from the sharper road-going SV. The car, with a twelve-cylinder engine, aerodynamic additions and a lightened body, was run by private teams in GT series. The model captures its circuit form including the typical racing features.
Glue the plastic parts with thin modeling cement for plastic; treat the body with a primer before painting. Spray the paint with an airbrush in thin coats and lay the decals onto a smooth gloss base. Fit the chrome-plated parts and the clear glazing at the very end, ideally with cyanoacrylate or a special cement, so that they do not fog; use the masking film supplied for the glazing. Assemble the engine under the opening cover, the seat and the roll cage before closing the body up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
