The F31 generation Leopard was built from 1986 and represented the typical Japanese luxury coupe of its day: a long hood, an angular body with no center pillar, rich equipment and six-cylinder engines including turbocharged versions. The flat surfaces of an angular body reveal every unevenness, so sand it and spray a filler on before painting. Apply the paint in thin coats, let it mature and only then lay the decals and the gloss clear coat. The chrome window frames and trim strips are a prominent feature on this type — either mask them carefully, or use self-adhesive foil, or else a good chrome paint. Finish the interior and the chassis pan before you close the body up. Glue the glazing with a cement for clear parts.
