An injection-molded plastic model of the two-seat Japanese roadster Mazda MX-5 in 1:24 scale from the Japanese brand Tamiya. The model captures the open sports car with its folding canvas top, rendered in the folded position. The set offers a faithfully shaped body, a well-worked interior and the option of building the car with left-hand or right-hand drive.
The Mazda MX-5 (in some markets the Miata or the Eunos Roadster) is a light two-seat roadster with a classic layout of rear-wheel drive and a front engine. Since its introduction it has been among the most popular and best-selling open sports cars in the world. It stakes everything on low weight, balanced handling and the pleasure of driving rather than on raw power.
First sand the body and treat it with a primer, spray it with an airbrush in thin coats and polish the glossy shades or go over them with a gloss varnish. Paint the interior and the small parts before the final assembly. Glue the chrome-plated and clear parts with a cement that will not fog them. Apply the decals over a glossy surface and seal them with varnish.
