The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; cement for plastic, paints and basic modeling tools are needed to finish it. Fujimi is among the Japanese brands that have devoted themselves to car models in this scale for a long time and systematically.
Mazda Roadster is the Japanese name of the two-seat open sports car sold on the European and American markets as the MX-5 and the Miata respectively. The car went for a classic layout: a longitudinally mounted engine at the front, rear-wheel drive, low weight and a balanced distribution of masses. The aim was not high power but immediate handling and a simple fabric roof that the driver can fold from the seat behind the wheel. Since its launch at the end of the 1980s it has become the most widespread two-seat roadster in the world and a fixture of the tuning and collecting scene.
With car models the surface of the body decides the result. Sand and polish the parting lines and sprue nubs carefully, spray the body over a filler primer and lay the paint down in several thin coats. Let the gloss varnish cure properly and only then polish it if you wish. Finish the interior, the chassis and the engine bay before you close the body up. Apply the decals onto a gloss base, help yourself with a decal softener and finally seal them with varnish in the degree of gloss you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
