The subject is the roadster in the version carrying the name Mazdaspeed, that is, the sports division of the carmaker. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted; cement for plastic, paints and basic modeling tools are needed to finish it.
Mazdaspeed is the motorsport and tuning division of Mazda. Sharper versions of production cars were created under its name, set apart from the base by their own aerodynamic parts, wheels and a retuned suspension. The roadster itself is a two-seat open sports car with a longitudinally mounted engine at the front and rear-wheel drive, known on export markets as the MX-5 or the Miata. It was precisely its low weight and clear concept that made it a favored basis for factory and customer modifications, which is why it turns up in the modeling range in a number of different versions.
On versions with aerodynamic add-ons, watch the precise seating of the bumpers and side skirts - rather try the mating surfaces dry before gluing and fill any gaps with putty. Spray the body over a filler primer and lay the paint down in thin coats, then let the gloss varnish cure. Finish the interior and the chassis before you close the body up. Apply the decals onto a gloss base, a decal softener will settle them into the shapes, and finally seal them with varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
