A plastic kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi Galant GTO coupe in the two-liter 2000GSR rendition with a chin spoiler under the front bumper, in 1:24 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Mitsubishi Galant GTO appeared in 1970 as a coupe built on the technical basis of the Galant sedan. The design openly acknowledged the American models of the day: a long hood, a sloping rear and a raised lip on the trunk lid known as a ducktail. In its class it was a handsome car popular with drivers, and today it belongs among the sought-after Japanese classics of the 1970s. The 2000GSR rendition carries the capacity of the two-liter engine in its designation and is complemented by a chin spoiler under the front bumper, an element that noticeably sharpens the look of the car.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted and is built according to the enclosed instructions. It is exactly the chin spoiler that sets this version apart from the basic rendition, so take care to seat it cleanly; it is the first thing anyone notices on a finished model.
Wash and degrease the body before painting so the finish holds and does not lift at the edges. It pays to spray in thin coats and let each one dry; with gloss finishes only the last coat decides the result. Glue the glazing and the chrome trim last, and rather with a glue that does not fog clear parts. Check the camber and the steering angle of the wheels dry before the glue sets.
For collectors of Japanese cars and for modelers who like the coupes of the 1970s. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
