A set of injection-molded plastic parts for building the Lancer Evolution III sedan in the GSR equipment level. The item comes from the automotive program of Hasegawa and is intended for a static build for a display case.
The third evolution of the Lancer arrived in 1995 and was recognized from the previous version mainly by its aerodynamics: a sharper front bumper with larger openings for cooling, reworked sills and a conspicuously taller wing on the trunk lid. Under the hood remained the turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder with all-wheel drive. It was precisely with this evolution that factory and private crews gathered top results in the world rally championship in the mid-1990s. The GSR level was a full-fledged road variant, from which the competition specials were built.
The sedan has large flat surfaces, so it pays to give time to preparing the surface, because every unevenness stands out under the gloss. Apply the paint in thin coats and let it cure fully, and only then reach for the decals. A clear coat over the decals will unify the surface and hide their edges. Paint the wheels and the brakes separately, as the assembly then goes together more easily.
The item is a set of parts for gluing and spraying, and the chemicals needed are obtained separately.
