1:24 Scale Fujimi Nissan R32 GTR V-Spec II ’94

The real subject

The Nissan Skyline GT-R of the R32 generation went into production in 1989 and quickly earned the reputation of a car that can give even substantially more expensive rivals a hard time. Under the hood it has a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine of 2.6 liters with two turbochargers; the power goes through a drive to all wheels, which in ordinary driving works mainly as a rear one and connects the front axle as needed. The body is a two-door coupe with widened fenders and a low front end. The V-Spec II execution from 1994 closed the production of this generation and against the ordinary GT-R it received stronger brakes, 17-inch wheels and wider tires.

Building and painting tips

Spray the body separately from the rest of the model. Sand the joints and the traces of production down with fine paper first, spray a ground coat and only then the color, otherwise the unevenness will show under the paint. Mask the dark areas around the windows and the frames before spraying. On the disc brakes behind the spokes of the wheels it pays off to paint the calipers separately and seat them only once dry. The recommended glue and the order of assembly are given by the instructions.
