An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern road tractor unit Scania S770 4x2 in 1:24 scale from Italeri, in the form with the lower Normal Roof cab. It is a sizeable and richly subdivided model of the flagship model of the Scania brand. Besides the plastic parts, the package contains a photo-etched fret, chrome and rubber parts and tires, so you have solid equipment for a detailed build straight in the box.
The Scania S770 is among the leaders of long-haul tractor units. It is powered by a turbocharged V8 engine of 770 hp, one of the strongest series-built truck engines on the market. The S range is marked by a flat cab floor, an aerodynamic shape and a roomy interior tuned for maximum driver comfort on long runs. The 4x2 version is the classic layout of a road tractor for semi-trailers.
Use liquid cement for plastic and bond the photo-etched parts with super glue. Finish and paint the engine, the chassis and the cab interior before you close the bodywork up. Spray the cab with a good base and varnish it with an airbrush to the high gloss that trucks usually have; a final clear coat will underline the color and the chrome parts. The model allows the doors and the radiator grille to be opened, showing the detailed drivetrain.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
