An unassembled injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese maker Aoshima in 1:24 scale. The subject is the Toyota Soarer in the powerful 2000VR Turbo version, that is, a luxury coupe with a turbocharged two-liter inline six-cylinder engine. The set is meant to be glued together and painted.
The Soarer was Toyota's prestige coupe, combining comfortable equipment with performance. The 2000VR Turbo version drew on a turbocharged two-liter six-cylinder and ranked among the sportier forms of the range. In Japan the car was an icon of the luxury and technical sophistication of its day.
We recommend spraying the body with surfacer and then a gloss clear coat with an airbrush, so that the smooth surface of the coupe comes out. Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the mold seam lines carefully. The chrome frames, the grille and the interior details will reward concentrated finishing. Glue the glazing with glue for clear parts, which does not fog the clear pieces.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
