A miniature spray can in 1:24 scale from the diorama line of the Polish brand Yamamoto Model Parts. Do not get it wrong: this is not paint in a spray can but a model of the can, that is a prop that gets put on a workbench, on a shelf or on the floor next to work in progress in a workshop scene. Nothing is sprayed with it and it is not installed into a car kit.
A spray can is one of those small objects that make a scene lived in. In a garage there tend to be a whole row of them, from rust remover through lubricant to paint, and a can set down by a wall works more convincingly than carefully lined-up tools. In 1:24 scale a small thing like that is hard to improvise, though: the shape of a can with its beads and its nozzle is characteristic and wrong proportions show immediately. That is exactly why it pays to reach for a part cast for this scale.
The part is small, so separate it with a sharp hobby knife and leave it on the carrier until it is painted, as that gives you something to hold it by in your hand. Before painting, wash it in lukewarm water with dish soap and spray it with a thin primer. A can looks good as a combination of a glossy body and a matte cap; the metal bead can be suggested with a silver color applied with a dry brush. A label can be imitated with a narrow strip of a decal from your own sheet or with a thin band of a contrasting color, as nobody will read actual legible text in this scale anyway; it is only a signal of color.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and further parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
