A set of waterslide decals in 1:24 scale from the maker DK Decals. It is not a kit but a standalone decal sheet, thanks to which a model of the Spitfire Mk.IXc can be finished in one of the marking options offered. As the second part (Part 2) it widens the choice of machines and adds further interesting forms to the preceding set.
The decals are applied onto a smooth, glossy and degreased painted surface. Cut the motif out, soak it for a few seconds, slide it off the backing onto the model and fine-tune the position. Using a softener will help the decal adhere to engraved detail as well; once dry, overcoat the area with varnish so that the decal blends into the surface.
For modelers building the Spitfire Mk.IXc in the large 1:24 scale who want to widen the marking options beyond the decals in the base kit.
