A model of the Toyota Supra coupe in the 3.0GT grade with a widened body. The tooling was made by the Japanese company Fujimi. The addition about high-society cars in the name refers to a line of sets aimed at the period luxury look of Japanese production.
The Supra of this era was a classic large coupe with a long hood, a longitudinally mounted three-liter inline six and rear-wheel drive. The wide body variant with markedly flared fenders was created for the most powerful version and is still among the most recognizable things Japanese production of the 1980s offered. The car aimed at a customer who wanted to join speed with the comfort of long-distance travel, and in Japan it was often modified into a representative form.
Flared fenders change the geometry of the wheel seating, so check dry whether the tires line up with the edge of the wheel arch. The transition between the flare and the original line of the side calls for careful sanding, otherwise the gloss paint will show it mercilessly. The pop-up front end is again a place where the decision is made in advance. Saturated shades suit the subject, but working marks show through them, so do not spare the filler primer and the sanding between coats.
It comes as an unassembled set without a surface finish; the finishing is up to you.
