The fourth generation Jimny stands on a frame, uses solid axles front and rear and offers selectable four-wheel drive with a low range. Both the front and the rear overhang are short, which lets the vehicle clear obstacles on which an ordinary city crossover would end up stuck. At the same time the dimensions stayed compact enough for the Japanese version to fit into the kei class. The suspension is simple in design, yet in rough terrain it has proved itself better than far more complicated solutions from rivals.
White is treacherous in that it emphasizes every scratch and every speck of sanding dust, so wash the surface thoroughly before spraying and let it dry. The black wheel arch trims and the grille mesh can be sprayed separately and fitted at the end. A white base at the same time opens up room for markings and lettering of your own design.
