Responsibility details are not available.
A kit of the classic Volkswagen Type 2 commercial van in a special release connected with the animated series Yatterman from the Time Bokan cycle. The basis is Hasegawa's automotive model.
The Type 2, also known as the Transporter, is among the most widespread commercial vehicles with the powerplant mounted at the rear and cooled by air. The combination of a roomy cargo space, simple engineering and an unmistakable shape made it an icon that reached beyond purely working use and became a symbol of free travel. Yatterman, for its part, is among the best-known Japanese animated series of the 1970s, so the boxing links a European automotive classic with the visual world of that series.
The large vertical surfaces of the van will show every ripple, so paint over a smoothly prepared undercoat. The two-tone division of the body can be managed with masking tape led along the engraved line. The cab is clearly visible from outside, so it pays to work it up. Paint any small accessories you use separately and glue them in only at the end.
The van comes in the form of parts to be joined and painted.
