The fourth set in the Yamamoto Model Parts range of transport cases, which the name describes as mixed. It is not a vehicle kit but a scenic accessory. The cases are placed next to a finished model: on a garage floor, by a workbench, on the bed of a service truck or in a luggage compartment. Scale 1:24 matches common car models.
A mixed set is practical the moment you do not want to repeat the same shape in a scene. Different cases side by side look more natural than a row of identical pieces and at the same time give the composition a rhythm. The accessory also works outside a garage, for example on a platform, by a field workshop or as a load on a trailer, where the scale of small objects is not decisive at first sight.
Wash the parts before painting and let them dry completely; grease from your hands is the most common cause of paint flaking off. Level the point of separation with fine sandpaper and check that the mating surfaces are flat, otherwise the cases will stand crooked in the scene. Paint thinly and in layers. So that the set does not look factory fresh, give every piece a different shade and a different degree of wear, bring out the edges with a dry brush and let a dark wash run into the gaps. Finally unify the sheen of the whole scene with one varnish.
This is a scenic accessory, not a vehicle model. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
