1:48 Breguet XIV A2 - Czechoslovak insignia is a set of Peewit painting masks for spraying the insignia instead of using decals. It is not a kit but an accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Peewit brand intended for spraying Czechoslovak national insignia onto a model of the two-seat Breguet XIV A2 observation aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces decals with sprayed paint. Sister sets of the same line offer French and Polish insignia, so the distinction is given by the national markings in the name itself.
A sprayed insignia has no carrier film, so no glossy step or so-called silvering arises on the model on a complex surface. It also sits on fabric covering and on areas with raised details, where a decal often causes problems. At the same time the result rests on the quality of the base: the smoother and better dried the coat under the mask, the sharper the edge.
For modelers who build the Breguet XIV A2 aircraft in 1:48 scale in the Czechoslovak version and want to spray the markings. An airbrush, or at least a sure hand with a brush and patience when masking, is a prerequisite.
The set does not contain the model, paints or glue. Before applying the mask, make sure the base color is completely dry.
