A set of late-version StuG III Ausf. G idler wheels, type 2, in 1:35 scale. According to the name, it is cut for Miniart kits.
Responsibility details are not available.
The StuG III Ausf. G assault gun was the most numerous version of this tracked vehicle and went through a string of changes during production. The running gear changed too: the idler wheel at the rear of the suspension was made in several patterns on late machines, and they differ in the shape of the spokes and the lightening holes. On a finished model this part is clearly visible and swapping it for the wrong one shows at once.
The set brings late-pattern idler wheels designated type 2 in 1:35 scale. The shapes follow the Miniart kits the set is tied to by its name. The number of parts and the way they fit into the suspension are given in the manufacturer's instructions. The wheels replace the matching kit parts, so count on the original parts being left unused.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary plastic cement does not work on them. Use cyanoacrylate glue, or two-part epoxy on larger surfaces. Cut the surplus material away with a sharp blade a little off the part and carefully sand the remainder so the shape of the edge is not spoiled. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent and degrease them, otherwise the paint will not hold. A thin coat of primer pays off, and only then apply the base shade of the vehicle, the dust and the caked mud.
The set is for modelers who want to sharpen up the suspension of a late StuG III and do not mind replacing kit parts. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
