This is a resin detail accessory from Quickboost for models of the legendary Czechoslovak Zlin Z-37 Cmelak agricultural aircraft in 1:48 scale. The set contains an accurately cast boarding step that replaces a coarser plastic part on the model and refines the look of the fuselage where the pilot climbs into the cockpit. It is not an aircraft kit but a separate upgrade part for the base kit in question.
The Z-37 Cmelak is a single-seat agricultural aircraft with a radial piston engine which from the 1960s served above all for crop spraying and fertilizing. Thanks to its sturdy structure and its distinctive silhouette it ranks among the icons of Czechoslovak aviation. The boarding step was a practical feature for the pilot in everyday operations.
Wash any mold release residue off the part, cut it from the casting block and attach it with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Spraying a primer before painting is advisable, after which the shade is matched to the surrounding fuselage.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted, as a separate resin part. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
