A set of two US Navy crew figures in 1:32 scale together with ejection seats for the Grumman A-6 Intruder.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was an American carrier-borne attack aircraft with a crew of two. Both men sat side by side under a single canopy: the pilot on the left and on the right the second crew member, who worked the navigation and targeting equipment and whose seat was set somewhat lower. That arrangement is what makes the Intruder cockpit unusual, and it shows clearly on a finished model, so an occupied seat pays off on it.
Two crew figures in 1:32 scale and ejection seats to go with them. The set is meant for finishing a model; it will not build a model on its own. The breakdown of the parts and the recommended placement in the cockpit are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
Choose the glue according to the material of the parts: ordinary cement for plastic models holds only on polystyrene, so use super glue on other materials. Cut away excess material and traces of manufacture with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand off the rest. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. Paint the figure and the seat separately and join them only at the end, otherwise you will not reach the folds between the body and the shell. A dark wash into the eye sockets and under the chin brings a face to life, followed by a gentle lightening of the raised areas. Keep the straps and buckles of the seat set apart in color from the upholstery so they are not lost in the cockpit.
The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
