Mud Textures - DARK BROWN 30ml

Mud Textures - Dark Brown 30 ml (Green Stuff World)

This dark brown texture paste from the Mud Textures line is ready for immediate use. You apply it straight from the 30 ml container, and once dry it holds the relief you gave it with a spatula or a brush. The shade matches waterlogged topsoil, a rutted field track or the bottom of a ditch, that is the darkest thing to be seen on terrain.

How it differs from the Splash variant

The Mud Textures line serves to create a continuous area of mud on the ground. The sister line Splash Mud Textures is meant instead for the splashes thrown up by wheels and tracks. When you want both on a diorama, it helps to have one of each.

Use

• Stir the paste before work and apply it in a thinner layer, so that it cures evenly.
• On figure bases put it on with a spatula or an older brush and work the texture by dabbing, not dragging.
• On the suspension, wheels and tracks of vehicles work in small sections and let it dry between coats.
• Create ruts and prints around the model or with a toothpick while the paste is still wet.
• The result takes well to refinement with pigments, static grass and small stones.
• Clean the tools immediately after work, as dried paste comes off them far less easily.

Who the paste is for

It will be appreciated by modelers who build dioramas and vignettes, by players unifying the bases of a whole army and by anyone who wants a layer of soil under a vehicle instead of a bare board. Even a beginner will manage it, because the paste is ready made and the shade is mixed by the manufacturer. A more experienced modeler will build whole terrain on it and refine it with pigments of their own.

Keep out of the reach of children, work on a protected surface and wash your hands afterward. Store the container well closed, so that the paste does not dry out.
