TM02 thin blade nippers are Japanese nippers 120 mm long that separate a plastic part from the sprue almost flush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Japanese-made modeling nippers with an overall length of 120 millimeters and a thin blade. The thin jaw is the main difference from ordinary electrician's nippers: it goes into a narrow gap and lies close against the part, so only a negligible stub of the gate is left after the cut.
A thick jaw compresses the plastic at the cut and the material around the gate turns white. The thinner the blade, the less material has to be pushed aside, and the cleaner the cut is. The stub can then be taken off with a single pass of a blade. In exchange, a thin blade is more sensitive: hard material, steel wire or a thick cast gate will notch the edge, and the notch shows on later cuts.
Cut in two goes, first a little away from the part and then flush. Do not try to cut through a thick gate in one bite; thin it down first. Keep the nippers exclusively for plastic and have other nippers set aside for wire. Wipe the jaws after work, as glue and paint residue keeps the edges from closing.
A thin blade is a consumable matter: the more carefully it is treated, the longer it keeps cutting cleanly. So it pays to keep coarser nippers in the drawer for everyday work.
