TM10 nippers with an angled tip are Japanese nippers 120 mm long with a flush cut that reach a gate at an angle from the side.
Responsibility details are not available.
Japanese-made modeling nippers with an overall length of 120 millimeters. The edge is set at an angle to the body of the nippers and cuts flush, so only a negligible stub is left after the cut. This version suits places where the jaw has to be laid against the part at a different angle than straight nippers allow.
When working on a finished model and in places where the gate sits against a wall or in a corner. The angled jaw seats there with its whole face, whereas straight nippers would have to be turned so far that a neighboring part would press on the edge. It serves just as well for shortening pins and wires that stick out of an already glued assembly.
Do not cut with the tip but with the part of the edge closer to the joint, where the nippers have the most force. Turn the straight side of the jaw toward the part. Separate the material in two goes so that the plastic does not whiten at the cut. Do not use the nippers on hardened steel wire. Wipe the jaws dry after work.
The angled version tends to be the second pair of nippers alongside ordinary straight ones, because it covers exactly those places where a straight jaw cannot work. It suits ordinary separating of parts from the sprue just as well.
