This resin detail accessory in 1:48 scale replaces the plastic exhaust stacks on a model of the German Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-9 fighter. The castings have faithfully shaped openings and fine edges that injection-molded plastic can barely reproduce. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for superdetailing.

Use

  • Carefully separate the exhausts from the casting blocks with a sharp knife or a saw.
  • Wash them in lukewarm soapy water to remove any mold release agent.
  • Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate).
  • We recommend suggesting burnt and sooted shades; the openings can be deepened with a drill bit.
