A set of acrylic inks from The Inks line of the Spanish brand AK interactive, tuned to brilliant and fiery tones. It contains three inks meant for places where the color is to glow: on flames, hot metal, energy effects or simply on areas that are to jump out on a model. The inks are not an opaque paint over an area but a heavily pigmented means by which a shade is saturated and shifted.
A light effect does not arise from one color but from a transition: from the lightest core to a darker edge. An ink suits such a transition, because it has a thin consistency and a finely ground pigment, so the coats follow on from one another smoothly and do not create a sharp edge. The saturation is governed by the number of coats, not by the thickness of one.
For painters of figures and wargaming models and for modelers who work with effects of light and fire. It will also serve anyone who wants to complete a palette with the strongest tones, which are hard to mix from ordinary opaque paints.
Shake the contents thoroughly before use. Keep out of the reach of children.
