It is a cockpit detail accessory, not a model: the panel is pre-printed in color complete with dials and labels and is ready to be glued straight in without painting. It replaces the panel from the kit and raises the realism of the interior.
The Republic P-47D Thunderbolt was an American fighter and fighter-bomber of the Second World War, one of the most massive single-seat machines of its day. The late version with the teardrop canopy had revised cockpit equipment, and a finely rendered panel gives the cockpit legibility.
