Eduard 1:72 Grumman A-6A Intruder is a set of painting masks for the glazing and the wheels of A-6A Intruder models in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of accurately shaped painting masks from Eduard for models of the American Grumman A-6A Intruder carrier bomber in 1:72 scale. The masks are cut from kabuki tape and serve for clean and accurate painting of the canopy frames and the other clear parts, and usually of the wheel hubs as well. They make straight edges easy, with no paint creeping underneath.
It is not a kit of an aircraft but an aid for painting. The masks are stuck onto the glazing, which keeps the clear area clean while the frames are easy to spray. They save time compared with laborious work with tape and give crisp edges. The set is intended for A-6A Intruder models in this scale.
Degrease the glazing before masking. Transfer the masks with tweezers and press them down carefully against the edges of the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats so that it does not creep under the edge; take the masks off carefully once it has dried. On doubly curved surfaces it helps to cut the mask into smaller segments.
The set is an accessory to a kit; the model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
