Eduard Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb seatbelts STEEL 1:48 is a set of pre-painted photo-etched steel seat belts for sharpening up the cockpit of a model of the Hurricane.
Responsibility details are not available.
Pre-painted seat belts of photo-etched steel for models of the Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIb in 1:48 scale. The parts are printed in color in advance and self-adhesive, so it is enough to separate them from the fret, shape them gently and stick them onto the seat. A steel base holds a bend better than brass, so the belts look realistically slack. The set replaces the flat plastic or decal belts and noticeably brings the interior to life.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British fighter aircraft and, together with the Spitfire, a key support of the RAF in the Battle of Britain. The Mk.IIb version carried an armament of eight to twelve guns and was committed as a fighter-bomber as well. The cockpit used the typical British harness system, which the set imitates faithfully.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife, shape them with tweezers that have flat jaws and run the bends over an edge. The self-adhesive layer is usually enough, and on exposed places a drop of cyanoacrylate glue can be added. Painting is not needed, and any light edges can be touched up gently.
This is an accessory set, not a model of an aircraft. The kit itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
