An accessory set from the Czech maker Eduard in 1:48 scale. The basis of the LooKplus line is a ready resin instrument panel with faithfully rendered dial faces, which only has to be fitted into the cockpit in place of the plastic part from the kit. Compared with the base set, the variant with the word plus is widened by further parts for the cockpit. The exact list of the contents is given by the manufacturer on the box.
The Westland Sea King is the British license-built variant of the Sikorsky S-61, reworked for the Royal Navy and fitted with Rolls-Royce Gnome turbines. The HAS.5 version was a later anti-submarine variant with more modern search equipment and a better arranged station for the operators. With this type the crew cabin is clearly visible on a model through the glazing and through the open doors, so detail in the pilot's compartment really does pay off.
The set is for modelers who build helicopters in 1:48 scale and want a faithful cabin without the lengthy hand painting of dial faces. Working with resin presupposes basic experience and protection of the airways when sanding.
