FuG 202 Lichtenstein B/C is a 3D printed resin accessory of the radar antenna for models of the Bf 110 night fighter in 1:48 scale. The target kit: Eduard.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is an aftermarket detail accessory, not a whole model. The set contains 3D printed resin parts of the FuG 202 Lichtenstein B/C radar antenna, which German Bf 110 night fighters carried. The parts capture the fine structure of the rod antennas more accurately than injection-molded plastic allows, and so they raise the nose of a model to the level of a faithful replica. The set is intended for the Eduard kit.
The FuG 202 Lichtenstein was a German airborne radar used in the night fighter defense during the Second World War. Its characteristic antenna array on the nose of the aircraft served to search out bombers in the dark and it became a typical sign of night fighters.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports and sand them gently if needed. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue, because the thin antenna elements call for careful handling. The painting follows the airframe scheme chosen, and the antenna rods tend to be dark.
This is an accessory for building a model; the model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
