This set contains individual metal (white metal) track links for models of the Panzer 38(t) light tank and of vehicles on its chassis in 1:35 scale. The links are joined with the wire pins supplied, so the resulting run is workable and sags faithfully over the wheels and the return rollers. It is not a vehicle kit but a premium metal accessory replacing the plastic tracks from the box.
The chassis of the Panzer 38(t), of Czechoslovak origin, became the basis of a whole family of vehicles, from reconnaissance and command versions to tank destroyers and self-propelled guns. The metal links capture the shape of the period tracks faithfully and suit a range of machines built on this chassis.
Clean any flash off the links, thread the wire pins through and cut the surplus off. Treat the metal with a primer before painting for good adhesion. A workable run makes a realistic lie on the running gear easier; a final patina of washes and pigments will bring out the cast detail.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
