1:48 MiG-21bis/MF/MFN/PFM/R/SMT EXPERT kabuki masks

MiG-21bis/MF/MFN/PFM/R/SMT EXPERT kabuki masks 1:48 (New Ware)

The top EXPERT level of laser-cut kabuki masks from the Czech manufacturer New Ware in 1:48 scale. It covers a wide family of MiG-21 versions (bis, MF, MFN, PFM, R and SMT). The fine kabuki tape follows the shape of the parts accurately and leaves no marks when peeled off.

The real subject

The MiG-21 is one of the most widely built supersonic fighters in history. The versions listed represent the later modernized machines with a more powerful engine and radar, which served with dozens of air forces around the world.

Use

• The EXPERT level is the most comprehensive: besides masking the canopy inside and out and the wheels, it contains masks for further details and supplementary pieces.
• The masks are usually numbered and come with a placement diagram.
• They are stuck onto clean, degreased surfaces, with the edges pressed down for a tight seal.
• The paint is applied in thin coats, so that it does not run under a mask.

Who the set is for

For demanding modelers who want to paint the glazing, the wheels and the other details of one of the later MiG-21 versions perfectly.

This is a set of painting masks, not a kit. The base model and paints are not included in the package.
