This is one of the larger sizes in this sub-range, so the head stays distinct even on a broken-up surface and will not disappear once painted. The package holds neither a model nor any part of one: it is an add-on material with which riveted joints on a model are added to or replaced.
The larger the head, the more the regularity of the arrangement counts: the eye picks out an irregular row of large rivets at once. Lay the surface out beforehand and keep checking the distances from the edges of the part. The base has to be sanded and dusted. In painting, work in thin layers; a larger flat head does take more paint than the fine sizes, but a sharp edge will round over under a heavy coat. A wash at the end traces the outline of every head and the surface gains depth that paint alone will not provide.
