INTENSE SIENNA - INK is a modeling ink from the Spanish brand AK interactive, from The Inks range. The trade name of the shade is used exactly as the manufacturer has it.
An ink is not a covering paint and is not meant to replace one. It is applied over an already painted surface, which it only partly covers and lets show through. That creates depth and a smooth transition, which is laborious to reach with full paint. It does not belong on bare plastic as a base coat.
Work in thin layers, let each one dry and judge the effect only on a dry surface. Wet ink always looks stronger than it finally dries. Mix the bottle before use and close it carefully after work. Choose the thinner and the cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions for this range, and test the strength of the tone on an offcut of plastic first.
For modelers of vehicles, figure painters and wargamers who want to add depth and more natural transitions to a finished coat. As a first paint in a beginner's kit it is not suitable.
Store well closed and out of the reach of children. Work in a well-ventilated room.
